How on earth do I get a first?The University Tour – with a First Class Q&A Panel.

Five 1st Class graduates will be sharing their secrets and principals with undergraduates on dates between Wednesday 2nd November and 24th November 2011.

About the speaker

Nathan Ghann, University of Hertfordshire Economics and Marketing

Nathan Ghann, left school with 2 A-C GCSES to his name. After he resat his exams he experienced a U grade for AS economics at college. In his second year of University he averaged a 3rd Class and was predicted to receive a 2.2 classification at best.

He transformed his situaition around drastically by what he says was ‘learning key principles’ to achieve a double first class degree and being selected as one of the Top Ten Most Outstanding Graduates in the UK.

Nathan has now vowed to help as many students as he can to acheive a first class degree and will be sharing all the secrets and principles that he used to achieve first class results alongside the first class question and answer panel as part of this university tour.

Joshua Bright, Maths, Finance and Business Bsc (Hons)

Joshua Bright sat his first GCSE at the age of 5. He was the youngest person ever to matriculate at Queen Mary University where he started a degree in Maths, Finance and Business at the age of 14. Now 18 he has completed his Masters Degree. Joshua hopes to create more first class graduates throughout the UK by reminding all aspiring undergraduates that ‘it’s ok to dream.’

Siobhan Madras,  Journalism and Writing BA (Hons)

Siobhan received the highest first class in the entire faculty of Humanities, Law and Education. A prolific writer, she has worked with some of the major magazines and newspapers in the industry. She is now Editor-in-Chief of Fame Magazine, a lifestyle and talent magazine for university and college students.

Rex Obeng, Accounting and Finance Economics BA (Hons)

Rex Obeng, an average student,transformed his academic status after implementing key principals and techniques identified by him and his study partner Nathan Ghann. He subsequently received an average of 80% in every single exam he sat in his final year. Rex will be present to give you expert advice on how to revise and prepare for your examinations.
